Join us for a 5 or 8 km walk in Mount Work Regional Park

Meet at Mount Work Regional Park, Ross Durrance Road Parking Lot, Highlands V9E 1G8. Registration opens at 9:30 am and closes at 9:55 am. The walk begins at 10:00 am.

The 5km and 8km routes are easy trails circling Durrance Lake walking along a forested trail then onto a wide gravel trail. The trail provides a beautiful view of the lake and the fishing dock. In the summer, water lilies grow on a portion of the water. The 8 km route also includes a slightly more difficult route down to McKenzie Bight with views of the Malahat Skywalk. Regular walkers do not necessarily indicate their attendance on Meetup, but our weekday walks typically attract 10 to 12 people; on weekends typical attendance is between 15 and 40 people.

New walkers are always welcome.
