Adventuring on the Erie canal way (part of the Empire State bike trail)

Prerequisites: an open mind, flexiblity, a sense off adventure.

I have a few days nailed down, I’m taking my bike and heading to Lockport Ny. I plan to base in Lockport but ride the Erie Canal trail back to Buffalo (30 miles) with time to explore the canal vibe. Would like to kayak the canal and can find those details - will then do additional biking Fromm Lockport east.

Will work on a draft itinerary shortly.

I will most likely just get a hotel room and will post when I figure that out.

We will shuttle ourselves or just sit do out and backs

Lockport also has a free ferry to Niagarara falls per the website

I have never been so whatever I find will be fun.

Suggested itinerary: arrive in Buffalo around noon or 1 - bike East approximatelymately 15 miles and return, taking our time to explore. Proceed to Lockport via vehicles to our lodging

Day 2, Sunday - bike 15 miles west towards Buffalo and return, possibly see if we can access the shuttle to Niagara Falls for the afternoon early evening.

Day 3 Monday, rent kayaks in Lockport and explorer the canal - bike east Fromm Lockport in the afternoon

Day 4 Tuesday - bike or
Depart - I need to leave by noon for home.
