4 or 7 Mile Mohican Big Lyon's, Dam, Mountain Bike, Shelter Trail Loop Moderate.

Starting point is the Covered Bridge main parking area. This is down the road toward campground B and is the very first parking lot along the river by the bathrooms.

4 or 7 mile, 900 ft Elevation. Start point is at the Covered bridge main parking area. I have a red baby bronco. 7 mile hike but can easily be shortened if you are looking for something like 4.25 miles.

This hike is designed to try to stay off muddy trails in the park.

Hike will take us up to Lyon's Falls up the stairs and then Carriage trail back and we will then follow the trail to the dam along the South side of the river. Crossing the dam we will take the connector trail to the mountain bike trail on through the education area to the Group camp grounds. From there, we will follow the road to the shelter trail and back to the start point.

Bring water. Trekking poles recommended. Dress appropriately for the weather. Forecast is 28° and partly sunny.

Bathroom at start point. No water sources on trail.
