Data @ Lincoln Center + The Whitney
Details
PLEASE NOTE -- THE EVENT IS HELD AT THE WORK-BENCH OFFICE, AT 110 5TH AVENUE, 5TH FLOOR.
Talk 1: In a post-Cambridge Analytica world, how organizations access and use data from their stakeholders is changing rapidly. Mary Caraccioli, Chief Communications Officer at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, will join us to discuss “the new normal” in data; sharing social media success stories, what’s working at Lincoln Center, and recent lessons learned.
Talk 2: Bridget Mendoza, Director of Business Systems at Whitney Museum of American Art, joins us to share insights from her initial focus on fundraising data to the build out of infrastructure to support a broader institutional constituent strategy. Looking back over the last 10+ years, the team started with setting a solid foundation for data collection and governance in the fundraising database, moved onto optimizing for a capital campaign, and then onto expanding the data management role to also encompass admissions, retail, and email marketing. Today, the Business Systems team has oversight of these once disparate database systems and is guided by three core data principles: Collection, Accessibility, and Governance.
A brief Q&A session will follow each talk.
Agenda:
