Welcome to the Greenville Globetrotters! This meetup group is perfect for travel enthusiasts in the Upstate SC area who love exploring new destinations and believe that shared experiences bring us closer together to make life more enjoyable. Join us to connect with fellow globetrotters through local events, learn about group travel opportunities, and share tips and recommendations for amazing adventures.
This group may take time to mature, but as we grow, I would envision setting up a variety of trips across member interests, destinations, and types of travel, including options geared toward couples, families, solo travelers, etc.
In between these travel events, there are many opportunities for us to experience the world without even leaving the Upstate SC area! We can arrange meet-ups at restaurants offering tastes from around the world, experience the many heritage festivals, or just get to know one-another with a "travel night" to learn more about unique options and brainstorm ideas.
About me: My wife, son, and I moved into the area at the end of 2019, and as much as we love the charm of Upstate SC, we also have a passion for travel and exploring the world around us. I co-own a small business providing travel planning services (the Zimpfer Travel Group with Dream Vacations), and although I would be thrilled to help with your individual or personal group vacations, the intent of this group is to travel together and connect with like-minded people across our community. Through my business partnerships, we have access to travel industry suppliers & experts, special offers & promotions, and can set up fun experiences that may not be available to the general public on their own.
