GSP Developers' Guild September Meetup

Details
In this month's meetup, Al Gonzalez will be presenting on .NET Minimal APIs. .NET Minimal APIs were introduced in .NET 6 as a lighter and faster alternative to the current Web API. During this presentation we will discuss pros and cons of using minimal APIs, where they are most appropriate, patterns for grouping APIs, and some of the enhancements available with .NET 7 and the upcoming .NET 8 (endpoint filters, route groups, binding query and header values, forms binding, etc.).
Al Gonzalez is a long time programmer with more than 30 years experience, starting from 6502 Assembly and Basic on a Commodore 64 and progressing through C, Turbo Pascal, Lotus 1-2-2 Macros, dBase/FoxPro/Clipper, Python, Visual Basic, PowerBuilder (DataWindow anybody) and .NET since v1.1. Al has been part of the GSP Developers Guild since shortly after inception (thanks Joe Wallings). He still very much enjoys software development and is trying to learn Go while being distracted by all the Rust and AI talk. Al is currently in the role of Software Architect at World Finance, a local lending company.
