The Greyhounds of NYC (GoNYC) annual Great Global Greyhound Walk (GGGW) will be held adjacent to the Central Park Tennis Center in Central Park, NYC, on Sunday, September 28th, 2025 from 10am-2pm.
The GGGW is an international awareness day recognized around the world!
It's one day devoted to Greyhounds and their Sighthound 'cousins' to celebrate and raise awareness that Greyhounds and Sighthounds make FANTASTIC pets. Check out one of our fun GGGW videos!
Please join GoNYC's GGGW for a 1 mile walk (there's a half mile shorter option too), and bring your own picnic.
Our event is for Greyhounds, Galgos, Greyhound mixes and other sighthounds (Iggies, Whippets, Salukis, Podencos and more) and their humans. Other pups from a Greyhound family are also welcome. But this is not an all dog breed event.
Dogs that attend must be all dog and all people friendly.
This year's theme is LOVE. So please wear your love colors! The first 100 pups will receive a treat goodie bag. And pawrents will have a chance for a free $100 Chewy gift card raffle. You must check in upon arrival to get your raffle ticket. See you there!
