GRID Knoxville is a real estate community built by investors for investors. We are a group of real people doing real deals.
Our core mission is to connect to, learn from, and collaborate with like-minded people interested in building wealth and creating impact through real estate.
We welcome investors of all experience levels. We are life-long learners and believe everyone has value to share.

How it works
We meet once a month, 12 months a year, on the same day, week, and time of the month. Each month we cover a different investing topic in the Lifecycle of an Investor—ranging from wholesaling to rehabbing to becoming a bank through private lending.
Our meetings are not sales pitches. They are opportunities for us to dive deep into a real estate topic, connect with local experts in our marketplace, and build long-term relationships with other doers and deal-makers.

GRID Knoxville is led by Cory King, Justin Myers, and Travis Dupre.
Hi, I'm Cory! I live in Knoxville with my lovely wife Amelia and our two sons.
I'm always looking for new ways to help and be creative to think outside the box to get things done. In 2009, my real estate journey began when I purchased my first property and quickly "house hacked" with 2 roommates who covered expenses and allowed me to grow quickly.
Finding ways to be creative in a down market, I began acquiring & flipping vacant lots in established subdivisions at local auctions and started selling them directly to neighbors as a way to make some cash and learn more about the processes.
I still have a passion for "off-market deals" and love learning and sharing my knowledge with others during our GRID Knoxville Monthly Meetup. We're super proud that it has grown to over 300 members locally (20,000+ nationally) and growing. Working as an agent and investor in Knoxville leaves me with a unique insight into all the options that are possible.
The mission is to deliver homeownership to everyone possible and make millionaires out of ordinary people. If there's any way I can be of service I'm always happy to help.
What can one person do in a community of thousands? Justin Myers has been answering this question for decades, with his trademark blend of positivity and energy wherever he goes.
His journey began in 2005, as a mortgage broker in the bustling neighborhoods of Tampa, FL. He thrived through the Great Recession of 2008, while adding rental property management to his expertise and founding a company to manage real estate transactions for busy agents. As he learned the residential real estate industry from top to bottom, it fueled his passion for delivering an excellent client experience at every turn.
Justin's mantra, "Everyone deserves a home," extends beyond his professional life. He is passionate about affordable housing and ending homelessness, and strives to build a more inclusive and accepting society. He regularly gives back through his involvement with organizations like CareCuts and Knox Pride.
Among Justin’s most meaningful achievements are the organizations he has co-founded and leads. Justin co-founded GRID Knoxville, a local community of real estate investors, which he leads to this day. He was the founding president of the Greater Knoxville chapter of Keller Williams Young Professionals (KWYP), a community dedicated to developing the next generation of leaders, and remains an active member. He also co-founded Pints for Purpose, a nonprofit dedicated to raising money and strengthening the networks of other nonprofits in our local Knoxville community.
Recognizing this track record of leadership, Justin was honored with the 2021 KWYP Cultural Icon Award, among more than 1,200 members nationwide.
Outside of work and civic involvement, Justin embraces life to the full. Fatherhood is his compass, and fitness is his fire. He’s often found practicing yoga, visiting art galleries, checking out his favorite foodie spots, and simply soaking in Tennessee's natural beauty. One of his favorite traditions is watching “It's a Wonderful Life” every year at the Tennessee Theatre.
Justin Myers stands as a beacon of community spirit, devoted to improving the lives of those around him. His track record is a reflection of his belief in creating spaces where everyone thrives, because for Justin, victories are best when shared by all."
Originally hailing from the vibrant culture of South Louisiana, Travis, happily married to Stephanie and a proud father of two adult sons, embarked on a life-changing journey when he relocated to the enchanting landscapes of East Tennessee in October 2022.
For Travis, Knoxville isn't just a location; it's a haven for nature enthusiasts. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, he and his family revel in the abundance of outdoor activities, from invigorating hikes to tranquil camping trips, and enjoying the serene lakeside ambiance.
