About us

Grief doesn't follow a schedule — and it doesn't ask permission before it changes everything.

If you are navigating the loss of a loved one, processing grief, trauma, or C-PTSD, healing from childhood trauma, or struggling with Prolonged Grief Disorder (PGD) — you don't have to do it alone.
This is a safe, compassionate space where grief is not rushed, minimized, or pathologized. Where you won't be told to "just move on" or to stay positive. Where what you are feeling — however complicated, however long it has been, however "stuck" it feels — is met with understanding, not judgment.

Led by Birgitte Tan, Certified Grief Coach, in this grief support group, we gather to:

  • Share and be witnessed in a safe, supportive community
  • Learn practical grief and trauma recovery tools for everyday life
  • Understand what grief and trauma actually do to the brain, body, and nervous system
  • Explore Somatic Resilience — reclaiming your autonomy through the Sovereign Soothing Method
  • Address Nervous System Repair — moving beyond toxic positivity to understand how trauma and stuck grief are physically stored in the body
  • Navigate Complex Recovery — body-informed support for chronic trauma patterns and grief that feels impossible to move through

This group welcomes anyone experiencing grief in any form — loss of a person, a relationship, an identity, or a chapter of life. Whether you are dealing with recent loss or it has been years, you belong here. Caregivers and supporters are equally welcome.

Until we meet, you can start receiving support on Substack ( https://substack.com/@birgittetan ) where I publish tips and tools to carry you through the week.

I look forward to connecting with you soon.
