What we’re about
Grounded Ideas is a monthly book club focused on practical philosophy. It grew out of Amsterdam’s thriving community of philosophy enthusiasts.
We prepare for each meeting by reading a philosophical text beforehand. To make it doable, we usually stick to 30–40 pages per session. This is plentiful for a two-hour discussion.
The group's repertoire so far consists of texts in political philosophy and philosophical novels.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
