GroundUp is a non-profit community for entrepreneurs, founders, and startup enthusiasts in Finland. Our mission is to connect people with great ideas, essential skills, and shared ambitions.
Our initial focus is on bringing people together through face-to-face co-founder meetups and knowledge-sharing sessions in a casual, supportive environment. We believe that by collaborating and helping each other grow from the ground up, we can build something truly great together.

This is a free, in-person event where you can meet and connect with potential co-founders in a friendly, low-pressure setting. This is not a competition—the goal is simply to share ideas and skills to find the right partners for your startup. You can also attend just to listen and meet people.

What to Expect: The event gives you a chance to find a co-founder for your startup. Each person gets a 10 to 15-minute slot to present (A screen is available, so bring your laptop).
- If you have an idea: Present your startup idea with a presentation, demo, or video. Be sure to explain what kind of co-founder you're looking for.
- If you don't have an idea: Present your skills using a presentation, demo, or your LinkedIn profile. Mention the types of companies you're interested in joining.
- You don't have to present to share your idea or skills. You can tell what you want to say without any presentation.
- You can also attend just to listen and ask questions.
After the presentations, there will be time to network and talk with other attendees. The conversation may continue at a nearby bar or cafe.
Rules to Follow:- Keep your presentation to the time limit.
- Don't interrupt others while they are presenting.
- Hold your questions until the end of each presentation and give others a chance to ask theirs as well.
