San Pedro de Ramallosa to Baiona Castle circular

Temperatures are at last coming down, and nowhere like Baiona! Familiar hike, starting from the campsite carpark, following the river to the south, we make our way to Monterreal castle, with beautiful views of the Vigo bay and the town. Walking around the extensive castle grounds, once a defensive fortress, now we can stop for a coffee and historians can discuss the French! Continuing back along the sea front will then allow us to relax on the beach, have lunch and allow the brave to have a swim. Temperature is likely to be no more than 23C. Total distance around 8km, desnivel <80m, bring water and snacks, sturdy shoes, wear light clothing and a light jacket may be useful if it proves to be chilly up around the castle.

I appreciate that I've left this a bit late, as until yesterday, temperatures were too high for walking any great distance.
