Mámoa do Rei - Vixiador Viewpoint Loop from Porto Cabeiro

Local intermediate hike through the forest between Lavadora and Redondela, 10.7km, desnivel 270m, 3hrs 5min walking time + stops, mostly on natural surfaces. I am staying local, because there is a diminishing risk of rain, in the morning and early afternoon. With a later start of 14:00, hopefully there'll be nothing worse than drizzle, so we should be fine under forest cover, although it may be damp underfoot. Bastones may be an advantage.

You'll need to be fit, wear sturdy hiking shoes/boots, warm clothing, and a light waterproof jacket/umbrella just in case we get caught out! Maximum temperature 16C. 20% risk of rain until 15:00, sunny after that. Bring water and snacks. We will finish at approximately 18:00.
