This month, GRWebDev clears the stage for an inspiring panel discussion moderated by Nicole Scheffler, host of the Diva Tech Talk Podcast. We’ll hear from three talented women as they share with us their unique professional journeys and experiences. Nicole Scheffler (Moderator)
Nicole is the founder of Tech Diva Success, a collection of podcasts, books, and events centered around women in tech. She is the host and co-founder of the award-winning Diva Tech Talk Podcast and leads strategy for Cisco’s Americas Partner Engineering Organization. Karina Lopez (Panelist)
Karina is a CRM Dynamics Developer at National Heritage Academies, but her work doesn’t stop there. She instructs coding classes for Grand Circus, is a mom of one and an avid runner. Karina is also a co-host on the Brown Eyes and Caramel Thighs podcast, which discusses issues that affect the modern brown woman.
Steph Carter (Panelist)
Steph is a Senior Android Developer at Meijer, leading a team of five to provide inventory and ordering services to store team members. She is also very much involved in the local tech community and has volunteered her time with groups such as Citizen Labs, Django Girls, and more. While coding is a passion, Steph’s heart also has plenty of room for coffee, sushi, donuts, and her adorable border collie.
Christina Robinson (Panelist)
Curious, intentional and integrative at the core, Christina is passionate about minimizing barriers to a healthy lifestyle. Since graduating from Northwestern University with a degree in Biomaterials Engineering, she has engaged in active and immersive training experiences that operate at the intersection of systems-thinking, ecosystem development, and technology. Currently, she works as an interdisciplinary engineer in Amway's Innovation & Science Group, where she explores paths to conceptualize meaningful product-service experiences that empower people as they journey to achieve and maintain the best version of themselves.
