Accessibility Testing: Interpreting Results

DESCRIPTION
Most of us already know the importance of web accessibility in today’s landscape. However, the number of people that know how to audit and remediate sites for accessibility is much lower. Join me as we cover the basics of automated and manual testing tools and learn how to evaluate commonly identified issues. We’ll also look at how to interpret what automated tests tell us, and discern when we have to put down the automated tools and use our own human judgement to uncover the real issue.

BIO
Ashley is a CPACC certified Accessibility Lead for Rapid Development Group with a focus on accessible UX and front-end development. She has a diverse background in graphic design, digital accessibility and strategic planning. She has experience working with Drupal, React, and WordPress frameworks. Ashley is always trying to see the bigger picture and look at problems from every possible angle to come up with the best people-oriented solutions.
