We are a Brighton community for anyone interested in how digital technologies and software products impact the planet. We run regular talks, workshops and roundtables always with pizza and drinks provided.

Green Software Foundation is a non-profit creating a trusted ecosystem of people, standards, tooling and best practices for green software. They aim to change the culture of building software across the tech industry, so sustainability becomes a core priority to software teams.

In July's Green Software Brighton event we'll be handing over control to the community - we want to hear from you about what you're doing or talking about in the world of digital sustainability & green tech. We're going to have a number of short 5-10 minute lightning talks from members of our community, followed by an open discussion on the topics covered.
Call for speakers! We need contributors to help us make this event a success. Want to share something you've been working on?
- Maybe you have a pet project to make your life or home more sustainable?
- Do you want to talk about a cool green tech project your company is working on?
- Perhaps you want to speak about challenges you're facing in this space?
Whatever the subject, a lightning talk is a great opportunity to share and practise your public speaking skills, all without the pressure of having lots of content to cover. Arrive from 18:00 for pizza and drinks. Event will start at 18:30. We always head for a drink and a chat locally afterwards too.
