My name's Jon :) I've been coming to this group since the summer of 2025. I've indeed been studying German for a bit before joining here.

But surely my German speaking started from the absolute basics ("Hallo Ich heiße Jon…") to now, where I can have conversations to some degree, thanks to the German Meetup group here in GSM!
So yes, my German speaking is not so fluent yet, but I'll continue to learn and practice German, hopefully reaching to the point as good as my English & Korean! 🇩🇪

I would usually see people coming here, getting to know each other more than just "studying" German & Korean. The combination of getting to know German & Korean languages, and cultures surrounding them, is definitely fun and interesting to talk about. 🤩

- The pictures of me that I have posted here are actually the pictures taken from the 2026 New Year Celebration Party! As friends from the German Meetup group, we had such a great time! We also had a Christmas Party, so you could definitely look forward to those kinds of spontaneous events! ✨
The meeting takes place every Wednesday at 7 PM at GSM Tables.
