[Intermediate Hike] Wilder Forest/Pleasure Valley, 9kms/2 hr

Please join us in an autumn hike at Pleasure Valley/Walker Woods!

We will be going at a moderate pace of 4.5kms for two hours. The trail is a mix of single and double track with some hills. Nothing too challenging. We will stop as required.

Please dress for the weather, bring good hiking shoes or boots and 2l of water.

The Glen Major Forest is one of the most mature forests within the Durham Regional Forest network. The route follows the widest trails with a very good variety of scenic viewpoints.

Winter Hiking Season Information:

Please note that as we get into winter hiking with snow and slippery trails, we consider proper Crampons to be mandatory.

The event host can ask you not to participate if you don't have proper footwear including Crampons. More Crampon Information.
