Join us for a fun weekend camping trip in beautiful Killarney Provincial Park filled with hiking, nature, good conversations, and great company!

• This is a paid event and members will be moved to the going list once payment is received (35 includes the campsite and one car parking charges).
Other costs like gas, food, etc will be shared equally. Expected cost for this trip excluding meetup fees should be under 100 per person.

🌧️ Weather & Alternate Plans
Weather in Northern Ontario can be unpredictable and is outside our control, so there will be no refunds due to poor weather conditions
If conditions are not suitable for The Crack hike, or if anyone prefers not to do it, we can explore other options such as
• Chikanishing Trai
• Granite Ridge Trai
• Lakeside walks, viewpoints, and exploring Killarne

Please note that if you choose to skip 'The Crack', feel free to chose any activity you would like which would most likely NOT be a host led activity

🚗 Carpooling - Please coordinate travel directly with your carpool group and you can use the comments section for communicating

Since we can only pitch 3 tents per site ,we will share tents. Meal prep is also shared unless you want to make your own arrangements.

Toronto Jazz festival is back with free concerts around Olg stage in Yorkville area. I have been there twice already and the performances are truly great.

Performances run from 19th June all the east to 28th June in the evening.

Escape the city heat and join us for a classic summer Saturday on Toronto Island! We’re heading over for a full day of sun, sand, and sizzling grills. Whether you’re looking to dominate the volleyball court, take a dip in Lake Ontario, or just lounge in the grass with a cold drink, this is the place to be.

### 🍔 Food & Drink (Potluck Style)
This is a BYOP (Bring Your Own Protein) and BYOB event.
*** What we provide: We’ve got the essentials covered! We’ll provide the **charcoal, grilling tools plates, napkins, and cutlery.
*** What you bring: **Whatever you want to eat! Burgers, skewers, halloumi, or wings—if it fits on a grill, bring it.
*** Potluck: **Feel free to bring a side dish, chips, or salad to share with the group!
### 🚴 Activities
We aren't just sitting around! Feel free to bring gear for:
*** Swimming: **Don’t forget your towel and suit for the beach.
*** Biking: *The island is car-free and perfect for a cruise.
*** Games: We'll have some lawn games, but feel free to bring a frisbee or a deck of cards.
### 💳 Logistics & Fees
*** Meetup Fee: *$5 (Covers the cost of charcoal, supplies, permits, and the Meetup platform fees. transfer to mech.mandeep@gmail.com or cash at the event.)

*** Transportation: Everyone is responsible for their own ferry or water taxi fare. Pro-tip: Buy your ferry tickets online in advance to skip the long lines!
*** First Come, First Served: **Space is limited to keep the group manageable, so grab your spot early!
** Note: **Please drink responsibly and remember that the island is a public park—let’s keep it beautiful and pack out what we pack in!

Summer is almost upon us, so let us pack our tents, swimsuits, and marshmallows as we’re heading to Samuel de Champlain Provincial Park for the ultimate nature combo.

Camping under the stars, hiking, swimming, and a bonfire to toast marshmallows.

Expect laughter, questionable ghost stories, and at least one person forgetting their bug spray.

You have the option of driving on Friday after work or Saturday morning.

A $35 event fee applies. You are responsible for your food, though we recommend sharing meals so we don't have to cook 10 different dishes.

Limited spots, FCFS. We will move people to the going list as we receive the deposit. Please send your deposit to mech.mandeep@gmail.com and mention camping and your name so I know.

If you decide to change your RSVP after the deposit, we can refund it if you can find a replacement.

Each site can accommodate 1 car and 3 tents. Any additional car will need the parking permit. If you are driving and are ok driving others, please put that in the comment.
