Along Madeira Drive in the open air... go west where the skies are blue…. ♫

From Blackrock Station in the east to the Flint Grotto and beyond in the west, via the new walkways, the old paths and groynes, we will be walking along this section of the Living Coast, taking in the past, the present and the future.

There should be something for everyone: those who know Brighton a lot, those who know it a little and those who are new to it.

This is a tour of about 5,000 steps/two miles. It is mainly flat but with some steep and twisting inclines (plus pebbles, boardwalks etc) . Duration: c 60 minutes.

And please be aware that we cross the world’s oldest working electric railway tracks several times. So in the words of the Volks Railway signs: Stop, Look and Listen. Which is also quite good advice for participation on a tour…
