Join us for the first Wander in Words meetup. We're a new book club in Guildford for people who enjoy thoughtful fiction, good conversation and discovering new reads together.
For our first book we’ll be reading Guilty by Definition by Susie Dent — a literary mystery set around the world of dictionaries, language and hidden secrets. Combining wordplay, intrigue and atmosphere, it promises plenty to discuss, whether you love mysteries, character-driven fiction or simply enjoy books that leave you thinking afterwards.
This will be a relaxed and friendly first meetup with time to chat and get to know each other. New members are very welcome, whether you come on your own or already know others in the group.
No pressure to analyse the book like an English degree — just bring your thoughts, reactions and curiosity and ideas for the next read.
