What we’re about
Hello all!
This group's main goal is to get together as many people as possible to, in aprox. a month and a half, attempt to break the world record for the world's biggest leaf pile.
As a community, I think that this is a surprisingly easily attainable goal. The main things that it requires are;
- Community Participation; Folks must come together and agree to work with one another
- Good Organizing; We need folks to help get word out, find a place for the event to take place, see about media contact, ect.
As the group gains members, I will send out letters for information as to how to volunteer if you'd like to.
The big thing right now is to start collecting leaves from your yard, local parks, or elsewhere and save them to be put towards the pile. Keeping them in garbage bags is the ideal thing, as it allows them to be easily stored.
I look forward to working with people on this, and I hope that together we can accomplish this goal!
