The Carolina's Barn Raising Tour, with Texas Slim

Texas Slim, from The Beef Initiative, will be joining us on his Barn Raising Tour to discuss the importance of sovereignty, knowing where your food comes from, and how Bitcoin plays a role. We will be supporting local farmers and ranchers from our community to highlight how we can work together to put clean, nourishing food on our tables.

Big Agriculture (“Big Ag”) has destroyed the health of North American society. Practices common to our ancestors: local food production, animal protein-rich diets, and ethical ranching are now fringe. This destruction, spanning the last century, was gradual and deliberate. However, we can reverse it by decentralizing our food supply, restoring peer-to-peer commerce, and rebuilding rancher-to-consumer personal connections. But, this requires decentralized censorship-resistant money.

We need Bitcoin. Why? Because solely relying on the banks that fund Big Ag is a recipe for failure. Bitcoin, like local agribusiness, eliminates corrupt middlemen. It is a tool that empowers us to take back our sovereignty by enabling us to transact without worries of censorship.

We need education. To successfully build and grow a bitcoin-powered parallel food economy, we need proper, practical, and comprehensive bitcoin education.
