Note: Due to Atlanta traffic and it being a weeknight, players tend to wander in between 5:30 and 7:00. So, if you can't make it at 5:30, come anyway!

This meetup is an opportunity to come together and play some great modern board and card games.

Meeple Madness has an extensive library of games we can play for free. Players also bring games they want to play, so there will be many dozens to choose from. We play a wide variety of board and card games; shorter, longer, casual, strategic, cooperative, and competitive. Best of all, there's usually someone who already knows how to play and can teach the game, reducing the time spent deciphering the rules!

Many of the games we enjoy are modern games like Pandemic, Wingspan, The Castles of Burgundy, and Terraforming Mars. Depending on the game you pick, you can play for 20 minutes or a couple of hours. Players are generally not eliminated from the game, so everybody is engaged for the entire game. Games are very sociable and a lot of fun.

We also play more strategic games like Last Night on Earth, Battlestar Galactica, and King of Tokyo. These games usually have more direct conflict and player elimination which tends to generate a lot of excitement around the table. These games can be short and sweet and finish in less than 30 minutes, or they can be epic slug-fests that deliver hours of entertainment.

All ages are welcome but children 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Ironshield is the perfect location to enjoy our favorite, easy-to-learn, quick-playing card and board games, not to mention party games, but we also sneak in heavier strategy games from time to time.

The tap room at Ironshield Brewery serves great beer and has spacious tables for gaming! A food truck is usually on-site on Thursdays, but feel free to bring something to snack on, or order delivery when you get here. A selection of soft drinks is also available.
Parking is on the side and in the rear of the building. The entrance to the tap room is around back next to the Beer Garden.
