GZ Wollishofen

Zurich has 17 community centres – Gemeinschaftszentren, or GZ. They're free, open to everyone, and they're where a lot of neighbourhood life happens: open workshops, cafés, animals, concerts, festivals. Much of it is carried by volunteers.
If you'd like to be part of that but don't know where to start – or assumed it only works in German – this call is for you.
We'll cover what a GZ is, what kinds of volunteering exist, how much time it takes, and what you get out of it. And you can ask any questions – audio or chat.

How can I build my resilience for times of crisis? In this workshop, you will learn about the protective factors identified by research. You will try out practical methods to boost your personal resilience and discuss with others what helps you most. The focus is on your personal resilience rucksack. You’ll have the opportunity to compile a packing list of the resources that give you support in difficult times and take it home with you.

The workshop will be led by Laura Meine, Diandra Lüthi or Sara Mostafavi. All three are experts from the University of Zurich.

This event will be in English. More information here: https://gz-zh.ch/gz-wollishofen/angebote/staerkung-der-psychischen-resilienz/
