Mindful Moonrise Hike

Details
Join Habitual Roots for a special Mindful Moonrise Hike in celebration of Beltane, the seasonal midpoint between spring and summer. Rooted in ancient traditions of honoring growth and connection, this guided experience invites you to slow down, reconnect, and reset with the natural world and your inner self.
We'll begin with gentle grounding and intention-setting before taking a slow, mindful walk by the water at Latta Nature Preserve. As the full moon rises over the water, we’ll gather to reflect, breathe, and enjoy a few calming practices — including breathwork, stillness, and light journaling — to align with the energy of the season and support our personal growth.
This is a space to come as you are, enjoy nature with others, and walk away feeling refreshed, inspired, and more deeply rooted in yourself.
How to find us:
Drive through the gates at Latta Nature Preserve and to the very end of the park. You'll see a waterfront picnic area with ample parking. We'll meet in the grassy area by the parking lot!
$11.11 to the public, $5.55 for Habitual Roots members
What to bring:
Comfortable walking shoes
Water bottle
Journal or something to write on (optional)
Facilitated by:
Danielle Smith is a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist, yoga instructor, and Reiki Master with a deep love for seasonal rituals, nature-based practices, and intentional community. Through her grounded, heart-led facilitation, Danielle creates safe spaces for people to reflect, reconnect, and return to what matters most.
