WHAT TO EXPECT
We’re excited to invite you to the second Hack The Box (HTB) meetup in Wellington, New Zealand! Whether you're just getting started in the world of hacking or you’ve already got some solid experience under your belt, this event has been designed with you in mind.
We’ll begin with a technical talk that will either dive into a common web vulnerability relevant to the challenges ahead or feature a presentation from our community (specifics to be confirmed). Following the talk, we’ll guide you through a walkthrough of a retired HTB machine. This session will cover crucial techniques for enumeration, exploitation, and privilege escalation.
To ensure everyone has a challenge that suits their level, we’re offering two HTB boxes: an Easy box for beginners and those who are new to hacking, and a Medium box for those who are more confident and experienced. After the walkthrough, you can team up with other participants to tackle these boxes and share your knowledge.
We’ll conclude the event with a raffle where we’ll be giving away some awesome HTB prizes, including VIP access to the platform and HTB Academy cubes (pending confirmation from HTB).
This event will be held on-site at the Layer 9 office in Wellington.
