0x1A Auckland Meetup - Wi-Fi Hacking
BNZ Auckland HQ - Level 18, 80 Queen St, Auckland, Auckland, NZWHAT TO EXPECT
Join us for another Hack The Box meetup in Auckland! Whether you're thinking about being a hacker or are already a seasoned one, this event has something for everyone.
This event is a guided, hands-on workshop exploring Wi-Fi security and common wireless vulnerabilities. Attendees will be introduced to the fundamentals of how Wi-Fi networks operate, including authentication, encryption, and the security mechanisms designed to protect wireless communications.
Through a practical lab-based session, we’ll demonstrate how common weaknesses in wireless environments can be identified and exploited in a safe and controlled setting. Participants will gain exposure to the tools and techniques used during wireless security testing, while developing a better understanding of both offensive methods and defensive considerations.
At the end, we will do a raffle where we will give out HTB prizes, such as VIP access to the platform and HTB Academy cubes.
This is an on-site only event in Auckland CBD.
