RUST STUDY GROUP at HACKER DOJO

Meet and collaborate with other people learning and using the Rust programming language! Rustaceans of all interests and skill levels are welcome. Bring a laptop and something to hack on in person, whether it's a personal project, Rust learning exercises (github.com/rust-lang/rustlings), or the Advent of Code (adventofcode.com).

GOALS
Our goal is to host a recurring Rust co-working and study group. At this first meetup, let's take a minute to figure out what we want from the format: freeform socializing? 5-10 minute talks about language features, new crates, and useful tools? mob programming? a reading group for one of several Rust books? Ideas welcome!

WHAT IS RUST
Rust (rust-lang.org) is a relatively new programming language that prioritizes performance and memory safety. Rust is widely applied, from fundamental projects like operating systems and databases to game development and web applications using Web Assembly. Rust has an enthusiastic user community and a strong focus on user education.
