Silicon Valley Civic Hackathon is a 5-week collaborative challenge that brings together college students, experienced technologists, builders, entrepreneurs, and community members to create solutions for real challenges faced by small businesses.
Student teams will work directly with local small businesses to understand their needs and develop innovative ideas, while members of the Hacker Dojo community will provide technical expertise, mentorship, and hands-on support to help transform those ideas into impactful prototypes, applications, and business solutions.
This unique experience combines fresh perspectives from students with the experience and technical capabilities of builders, engineers, designers, and entrepreneurs. Together, participants will explore how technology, AI, design, marketing, and business strategy can help small businesses overcome obstacles and unlock new opportunities for growth.
Participants will gain valuable experience in innovation, teamwork, product development, and community impact while building meaningful connections across the local startup and technology ecosystem.
