There is a CTF event on February 25th to 27th and Hackeriet is participating!
A 'Capture The Flag' is a type of hacking competition in which solving technical challenges results in winning 'flags'. We play together as a team and compete with others all over the globe - the team with the most flags wins.
Challenges are traditionally in categories such as reverse engineering, exploiting and cryptography but there are also always more approachable challenges focusing on the web, programming tasks or miscellaneous technology.
There is usually something at everybody's difficulty level and we're happy to help each other out, so grab your laptop, a friend and a whole lot of time and join us!
The contest begins at 02:00 Norwegian time on Friday the 25th, but we start playing on Saturday from around 12:00-13:00, we will buy some food at one of the local fast food joints.
Once you make it to the space just ring our doorbell at http://door.hackeriet.no/ and somebody will come out to let you in.
java developer, know very little about hacking.
Sysadmin & functional programmer by day, spaceship pilot at night.
Hard problems are sooo much more interesting...
There is no right and wrong. There's only fun and boring.
