Jewelry Making Class: Basic Torch Fired Enameling

The art of fussing glass to the metal is a magical process called enameling.This class is suitable for creative individuals interested in learning fundamentals of torch fired enameling, including how to choose enamels and metals, prepare the metal, sift enamel, and fire. In this course you will learn how to create a beautiful and unique enameled pendant.
Skills learned
• Basics of torch fired enameling
• Sifting
• Firing
• Counter enamel
• Attaching a jump ring to your piece so you can use it as a pendant.
Tools are provided for class usage by Made Studio, and a kit of materials and a handout is included with the class.

3D Printing

Learn the essentials of 3D printing with Bambu P1P and X1 Carbon printers using PLA filament. In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll gain hands-on experience slicing models with Bambu Studio, preparing the printer, and troubleshooting prints. You’ll leave with the skills to start creating your own 3D projects.
You’ll learn:
- 3D printing basics and model printability
- How to prepare and calibrate the print bed
- How to load and unload PLA filament
- How to use Bambu Studio to slice models
- How to troubleshoot common print issues
All tools and materials for 3D printing are provided. Supplies are included in the class fee.
Resources/Skills Needed from Participant:
- Basic computer proficiency and file management skills

Woodshop Basics - Part 2 (of 2)

Prerequisite: Woodshop Basics: Part 1
Build on your skills from Part 1 with this beginner-friendly follow-up class. You'll get hands-on experience with additional woodworking machines and techniques used for joinery and project building.
You’ll learn:
- Safe use of the router table
- How to operate the band saw and jointer
- How to drill precise holes using the drill press
- Woodworking terms and joinery techniques
All tools and materials are provided. Supplies are included in the class fee.
Important Notes:
- Register by 9:00 AM the day before class. For same-day inquiries, call or email us.
- Wear shop-appropriate clothes: long pants, close-toed shoes, and hair tied back.
