Series Line-Up
July 3 - Design Studio: Posters, Stickers & Buttons
Create bold posters, press wearable buttons, and design custom stickers (stickers will be printed and ready for pickup the following week).
July 10 – Woodshop Project I In this hands-on session, kids will build their first woodshop project using a combination of pre-cut wood pieces and guided instruction. They’ll learn how to safely handle both hand tools and beginner-friendly power tools (such as drills and sanders) in a supervised environment.
Students will focus on core skills, such as measuring, assembling, sanding, and painting, as they create a functional and decorative wood item. Along the way, they’ll gain confidence using fundamental tools and develop an understanding of basic shop safety, project planning, and creative finishing techniques.
July 17 – Intro to 3D Printing Kids will learn the basics of 3D design using beginner-friendly software and discover how digital files are transformed into real objects. Each participant will create a simple custom design and print it using our Bambu 3D printers. Everyone will take home their printed piece at the end of the day.
July 24 – LEDs & Light Projects In this entry-level electronics session, kids will discover how simple circuits work by building projects that light up. Using safe, age-appropriate materials like copper tape, LED lights, batteries, and conductive adhesives, they’ll create light-up cards, badges, or small objects that glow. Along the way, they’ll gain a basic understanding of circuitry, polarity, and how electricity moves—all in a fun, hands-on format that makes learning feel like play.
July 31 – Sewing & Soft Crafting Campers will learn the basics of hand-stitching in this fun and beginner-friendly textile session. They'll practice simple stitches, threading, and fabric handling while creating a soft fabric project, such as a mini pouch, plushie, or small pillow. This session encourages patience, focus, and creativity as kids bring their soft creations to life using needle and thread. All materials are provided, and no prior sewing experience is needed.
August 7 – Woodshop Project II In this follow-up woodshop session, campers will build a second small wood project that allows for more creative control and decorative finishing. After assembling the pre-cut pieces, students will explore additional finishing techniques such as staining, stenciling, distressing, or layered painting. They'll continue developing their tool handling and sanding skills while learning how to enhance a project’s look and feel with thoughtful design choices. This class encourages kids to take more ownership of their work and express their style through finishing details.
August 14 – Maker Mash-Up & Showcase To wrap up the summer, campers will enjoy a day of creative freedom with access to multiple maker stations featuring some of their favorite tools and techniques from the program. From sublimation and painting to 3D printing, art, and small crafts, kids can experiment, combine skills, and bring their ideas to life. It’s a relaxed, open-ended day filled with fun, expression, and creativity. We’ll conclude with a casual mini-showcase, where campers can share their creations with family and friends.
