Maintaining multiple R versions with renv-installer.

Across programming languages, we are starting to see tools that allow developers to easily install multiple versions of the language in the home directory and maintain them separately. The Perl community has Perlbrew, in Python you can use pyenv, and with R there is now renv-installer. In this talk, we'll see some example of how you can use renv-installer to maintain multiple versions of R, setup your shell to switch versions depending on which directory you are in, and use the renv package (no relation to renv-installer) to help track the packages needed to make your next R project reproducible.
