Synopsis: FreeBSD Jails using Bastille

This talk will cover creating and managing FreeBSD jails with Bastille. We will cover what exactly a jail is, how to configure Bastille, and how to create, start, stop and generally manage jails within the Bastille environment.

Mark LaPointe B.C.S. - aka Rev. Helix

Mark LaPointe is a Computer Scientist who focuses on Software Engineering, Real Time Systems, Services, and Network infrastructure.

Mark is formerly of Prolexic Technologies / Akamai Technologies, for 12 years, where he created tooling to monitor and mitigate DDoS attacks. Prior to Prolexic he was contracted at Ford Motor Company developing and integrating solutions for their plant floor monitoring systems.

He is currently working at ACAMS doing distributed computing projects that are utilising Kubernetes, Docker, and many other related technologies for the purpose of detecting money laundering events.

In his free time he has been collaborating and working on projects involving FreeBSD.
