How Monitoring Software Works (& Does Not)
Employers, Internet Providers, Advertisers, and other organizations monitor your behavior using computers and the Internet. The same techniques that they use to monitor are used by antivirus providers, anti-cheat software, and other systems to perform their actions.
This presentation looks at many of the lower-level hooks common to monitoring software and other systems and how they function. It covers what is and is not possible with each of these methods.
This presentation also discusses interoperability concerns businesses may encounter when more than one of these programs is used at once.
