Japanese/English Meetup #10! (At our evening location)

This is a different format from our Saturday exchange. It's CASUAL, with no rules and no real structure. We're meeting to talk (one-on-one or in groups) in a relaxed atmosphere while drinking & eating.

今回のexchange meetingは土曜日のmeetingとちょっと違う。この月曜日のmeetingで、形式ばらないかんじで、フリートークする。飲んだり食べたりしながら、色んな相手と喋るmeetingです。

It's at a pub downtown called The Pheasant Plucker (20 Augusta Street), and Monday nights their wings are half price. Also, they have domestic pints for $7. We have a section reserved starting at 6:00 pm, but you don't have to arrive at 6:00; anytime is fine. And you don't have to stay for 3 hours, either. It'll be very casual.

場所はdowntownのパブのPheasant Pluckerです(20 Augusta Street)。毎週の月曜日、そのパブのchicken wingsは半額だよ！そして、国内産のビールのパイントは$7。テーブルの予約は18時からだけど、何時でも来てください。帰る時間もいつでもいいよ。

The only guideline for the evening is: if we get native speakers of both languages, let's try to speak target languages for alternating 30-minute periods. Otherwise, anything goes!

もし英語のネイティブ・スピーカーと日本語のネイティブ・スピーカーも居たら、30分間隔で会話の目標言語を切り替える。だから18:00～18:30は英語で、18:30～19:00は日本語で、19:00～19:30はまた英語、などなど。

We're trying to alternate this type of exchange with the more-structured Saturday exchange, so we'll have two chances to meet each month. I hope to see you all there!
