Japanese/English Meetup #13 - Potluck Lunch

13回目のmeetupは2月8日⁽土⁾、12:30から。場所はいつものCanadian Japanese Cultural Centre of Hamilton。住所は45 Hempstead Drive。Cultural centreは無料駐車場もある。でもバスで来る方にも便利だよ、Upper Ottawaの22番のバス停はcultural centreの前だから。

Our 13th meetup is Saturday, January 18th at 12:30 pm at the Canadian Japanese Cultural Centre of Hamilton at 45 Hempstead Drive. There is free parking at the centre and a #22 bus stop right across the street.

Since we're saying good-bye to a few of our members who are returning to Japan, we're going to have a light potluck lunch, so please bring a snack and/or something to drink.

So, instead of the activity schedule we planned last time, let's keep it loose and aim for:
(a) some basic Japanese practice (guided conversation drills)
(b) some language games in both languages (language level matching the player's level)
(c) some free conversation in both languages while we eat

For the guided conversation, we will be providing handouts on the day with vocabulary and grammar we plan to use, so you don't need to study anything beforehand. We'll choose a few key phrases, make sure everybody knows them, and then practice them in small groups or pairs.
