Looking to get outside, meet new people, and explore the best trails and waterways in the Hamilton and Niagara region? This group is for young adults who enjoy stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), kayaking, and hiking, whether you're a seasoned adventurer or just getting started.
Our outings are all about staying active, discovering hidden gems, and building a welcoming community of outdoor enthusiasts. Expect everything from relaxed sunset paddles to scenic waterfall hikes, with occasional social meetups afterward.

๐ Waterdown Trail + Smokey Hollow Falls Hike ๐ฅพ
90 Dundas St E Parking, 333 Clappison Ave, Hamilton, ON L8S 4G1, Canada, Hamilton, ON, CACome spend the afternoon with Paddle & Hike Collective exploring Waterdown. We'll wander through forest and ravines, stopping for snacks at Smokey Hollow Falls along the way.
This one is a bit of a workout, but nothing we can't tackle together!๐ฅพ Trail Details

- Difficulty: Moderate | 11.4 km | ~364 m elevation gain

- Expect some hills, stairs, and uneven/rocky sections

๐ Bruce Peninsula (Day 1): Stormhaven to Overhanging Point Hike ๐ฒ
Grotto Parking, 6FPG+RJ Cyprus Lake Head of Trails, Northern Bruce Peninsula, ON N0H 2R0, Canada, Northern Bruce Peninsula, ON, CAGet ready for one seriously scenic stretch of the Bruce Trail! Weโre heading up to the Bruce Peninsula for a hike from Stormhaven to Overhanging Point, combining rugged Bruce Trail terrain with some of the best views the peninsula has to offer.
Expect a mix of forest, rocky sections, climbs and descents, and plenty of opportunities to stop and take in the Georgian Bay scenery. Overhanging Point is a dramatic cliffside viewpoint overlooking the bay and is a particularly spectacular spot to pause for photos.๐ฅพ The Hike
This is a moderately challenging hike. The Bruce Peninsula terrain is rugged, with rocks, roots, elevation changes and slippery sections. This hike is best suited to people who are comfortable hiking on uneven natural terrain. Come prepared to be outdoors for several hours.
This is not a beginner hike โ sturdy hiking footwear is required, and we'll be taking our time over the more technical sections.Where to Meet: Grotto Parking

๐ Bruce Peninsula (Day 2): Glass-Bottom Boat Cruise & Flowerpot Island Hike ๐ฒ
7425 Hwy 6, 7425 Hwy 6, Tobermory, ON N0H 2R0, Canada, Northern Bruce Peninsula, ON, CAWe're taking the adventure offshore! For this Paddle & Hike Collective adventure, we're heading to Flowerpot Island in Fathom Five National Marine Park โ home to its famous limestone "flowerpot" formations, caves, historic lighthouse, and gorgeous Georgian Bay scenery.
Flowerpot Island is only accessible by boat from Tobermory, so this one is a little different from our usual hikes. Come prepared for a full day of exploring, hiking, sightseeing, and making the most of one of the Bruce Peninsula's coolest destinations.๐ฅพ The Hike

- Every member is responsible for purchasing their own boat ticket directly through Blue Heron Cruises: BOOK YOUR BOAT TICKET HERE
- Boat tickets cost $60.17 during the shoulder season
- When booking, make sure you select: "Flowerpot Island Drop-Off Cruise" on Sunday October 18, pickup at 12 PM, and return at 4:30 PM.
- Once we are dropped off at the island, we will have 3 hours to complete a hike on Flowerpot Island
- Difficulty: 3.4km | 95m Elev. gain
- Duration: 1-1.5 hrs
