🌿 Sherman-Canterbury-Mill Falls Hike + Ancaster Mill Lunch

Join us for a beautiful waterfall hike through the Ancaster/Dundas Valley area, finishing at Ancaster Mill for lunch.

📍 Meet & Start: Ancaster Mill Parking Lot at 11 AM (coordinates: 43.2342, -79.9737)
📍 Finish: Ancaster Mill, 548 Old Dundas Rd, Ancaster
We'll follow the Sherman, Canterbury & Mill Falls route, taking in some of the area's beautiful forest trails, escarpment scenery, and waterfalls before finishing at Ancaster Mill.
The area is known for its waterfall scenery, including Sherman Falls, a 17-metre waterfall along the Bruce Trail.

What to Expect

• Forest and Bruce Trail sections
• Waterfalls and scenic views
• Uneven, rocky and potentially muddy terrain
• A moderate hike — comfortable hiking shoes are recommended
• Please bring water and dress appropriately for the weather

Trail conditions can become muddy after rain, so footwear with good traction is a good idea.

🍽️ Lunch at Ancaster Mill

We'll finish the hike at Ancaster Mill and sit down together for lunch.
Ancaster Mill is a historic stone mill beside a creek and waterfall, with dining rooms overlooking the falls. The current mill dates back to 1863 and the building was restored and opened as a restaurant in 1979.
