🐟🛶 Grand River OxBow Paddle + Sociable Kitchen & Tavern 🥂
Details
The Oxbow is a fabulous gem on the Grand River just outside Brantford. The route provides 15km of paddling, with less than 2km shuttle between the Put In and Take Out! This is short enough to easily walk back to retrieve our vehicles at the end, or we can position a car at the end of our paddling route to take us back.
The River in this section is gentle and generally quite deep. It’s even a good place for a night paddle… but that’s not our objective this time. We expect to see some turtles along the way, while enjoying the benefits of having the current do a some of the work for us.
There are no really simple rentals available for this adventure, but there are 3 spots available in Matt's canoes. Contact Matt if you want one of those spots. Or, of course, bring your own watercraft.
