Sly Park - Jenkinson Lake & Trail 8

Wheels up at 10:10am. Parking is free on Mormon Emigrant Trail near the Waterfall Trailhead or at the Fleming Meadows Trailhead (just a wee bit further up the road).
First, we'll ride counter-clockwise from the Waterfall Trailhead off of Mormon Emigrant Trail, ride around Jenkinson Lake (8.5 miles or so), then we'll hit Trail 8 (counter-clockwise again) before maybe hitting the "fun stuff" after doing Trail 8.
Maybe head to Nello Olivo Winery/ Hwy 50 Brewery for food, drinks, music & views.
Forecast calls for sunny & a high of 70 F. It will probably be in the high 50s/ low 60s during the ride, so layer up.
Full-powered & reliable emtb is recommended, but intermediate to advanced riders can probably keep pace, too.
From Folsom, figure the drive will take you just 55-60 minutes. Plan accordingly.
