Mariners' Lake Natural Area Hike

We'll try to get in at least 5 miles on these shady trails that meander through the woods around Mariners' Lake. Trail surface is mostly a mix of hard packed dirt and fallen leaves. The terrain is less hilly than the Noland Trail but the trails are narrower. It gives you more of the "I'm out in the woods" vibe. Bumping into other hikers or mountain bikers (yes biking allowed here but not at Noland) is a rarity. A small portion of the trail offers one of the more unique experiences you will find in our area. There are no bathroom facilities or potable water so plan accordingly.
