Staying in the Room is a mindful, interactive workshop designed for anyone who experiences social anxiety, wants to deepen their friendships, or is trying to figure out how to make meaningful connections in the modern world.
In a time when many of us feel disconnected, awkward, or unsure how to build real relationships, this workshop offers practical tools and grounded support. Together, we’ll blend mindfulness with social and emotional skills to help you feel more confident, present, and at ease in social settings.
You’ll learn practical takeaways like:
• How to talk to someone new without overthinking it
• How to turn a conversation into a potential friendship
• How to deepen the friendships you already have
• How to stay present instead of anxious or self-critical
Throughout the workshop, we’ll pair these social skills with mindfulness and breath techniques to help regulate your nervous system and reduce social overwhelm.
To close the evening, we’ll slow things down with a restorative sound healing, followed by relaxed socializing with non-alcoholic mocktails. No pressure, no forced networking, just a chance to practice staying in the room in a supportive, real-world way.
This workshop is for anyone craving deeper connection, more ease in social spaces, and a healthier relationship with themselves and others
