About us
We're a group for people who want to learn American Sign Language (or are already learning) and want to practice with others in a supportive, judgment-free space. Whether you're a complete beginner or you've taken a few classes, you'll find people at every level here. We get together regularly to work through lessons together, practice conversations, and just hang out while signing. No pressure, no tests—just people genuinely interested in picking up this language.
The main thing we're about is making this accessible and fun. Sign language can feel intimidating at first, and there's something really helpful about learning alongside other people who are in the same boat. We do structured practice sometimes, but mostly we just enjoy each other's company and learn at whatever pace works for us. If you're curious about Deaf culture or want to communicate with Deaf friends and family members, that brings a lot of people here too.
Come as you are. Bring your questions, your mess-ups, and your enthusiasm. That's what we're here for.
