Bike or Drive to the Jones Beach Air Show
Friday July 3rd practice day and we'll enjoy this wonderful event without the massive crowds of the Bisesquicentennial 4th JULY America 250:
weekend .
If Driving
meet us at field 6 on the sand right by the life guard shack.
(see photo ) . bring chair , food , drink and enjoy we'll be at our spot by 10:30 The Beach side "on the sand " life guard shack (see photo )
By Bike
Be at Cedar Creek Park by 9:30
Backpacks recommended or similar with food , folded blanket , drink, sunscreen , bike lock set etc....And or whatever stows on bicycles for ride to field 6
Cedar Creek Park .....choose any lot ....Arrive no later than 9:30 AM ... ..Meet ready to go by the Statue @ 9:45 and we head down the bike path at 10:00 AM....
Check that bicycle is in good working order before hand and a lock set is recommended or nice folks will share their lock with you.. We will lock the bikes at the bike corral near field 6
Bike to beach is 4.3 miles each way and easy for the novice.....
You'll meet everyone ...
