Happy couples wanting to meet other happy couples through hosted dinner parties. Each couple hosts in their home, designs the menu theme, provides the entree, and selects the sides the other attendees offer to bring. Or makes the entire dinner. Or sets up and manages a non-home concert, picnic, restaurant, etc. Use your imagination! A great way to make new friends.
This is a re-creation of a successful group in Silicon Valley that led to many lasting friendships. While the target age range is 50+, anyone age 45 plus is welcome. The only other requirement is you have a home that can host a party of 8 (including yourselves), that you are a happy couple (married, single, any couple), and you are a friendly and respectful duo that loves meeting others. When you host an event you can attend 3 other events. The host will elect a general theme for the menu. The host will provide the entree (or more). Each couple attending will offer a specific appetizer, side, and dessert to bring. The host will then pick the appetizer, side, and dessert they want and let each couple know. Each couple will also bring a bottle of wine. That's it! And sometimes we may go to restaurants and other places together as well.
The group growth has been nice and steady. Away we go.
