Chilao: 2 Nites of Total Chillaxation in ANF

We’re taking a break from backpacking and going CAR CAMPING at Chilao Campground in the Angeles National Forest!
From the 210 Fwy drive up Angeles Crest Hwy (2) about 26 miles until you reach the Chilao Campground entrance on your LEFT side.
We’ll try to secure 2 campsites, side by side, early Friday morning.
BRING WATER, there’s no piped water available at Chilao, according to the USFS
As you know we don’t have a site yet. I will reserved it on Friday morning. We will split the cost on the camp site. Two cars per site. They have overflow parking but try to go with someone if possible.
There is no water. Please bring enough for the two nights to drink and to cook your meals.
