Cooper Canyon Falls & overnighter Celebration šŸŽŠ

Details

Join us at Cooper Falls to celebrate my 30th birthday šŸŽ‚ and my new master's degree šŸŽ“! It's a special time, and I'm excited to share it with y'all! I'll arrive at camp by 8 AM to secure the campsite (and might just set up some cute decorations—don't worry, I'll pack everything in and out). Group hike in can start at 9am!

Optional day hike to the waterfall!

If you feel up to it, please bring treats and goodies to share ā¤ļø Hope to celebrate with you there
.
Arrive anytime at Cooper Canyon Trail Camp!
You will begin your hike from Cloudburst Summit on Hwy 2, a mile or so past Newcomb’s Ranch.

If you drive by the Mt Waterman Ski Lifts or Buckhorn Campground you’ve gone too far, turn back.

There’s a PCT trailhead off the 2, at Cloudburst Summit, part of it, fire road, which you will take and if you stay on the fire road the campground is only 1.6 miles. And if you stay on the PCT it’s about 2 miles.

This trip is not about the journey. It’s all about camping!

Optional day hike to Cooper Canyon Falls… just continue on the PCT for another mile or so in.

The campground has several large picnic tables, wood burning stoves, fire pits, & food lockers.

There’s an adjacent creek for water. For directions to the trailhead enter ā€˜Cloudburst Summit’ on Google Maps or Apple Maps. It should take you less than an hour once you get on Hwy 2 in La CaƱada.
