Mt Pacifico Campground: Hike, Bike, or Drive up

Some of us will be backpacking, some will be bike-packing, and a couple of others will car camp.
Car campers will bring extra water for the rest of us, as there is no water available at the campground.
The fire road reopened to vehicles with high clearance just a few days ago so expect to see some car and truck campers. For example, a Subaru Outback has just enough ground clearance to make it all the way to the top.

Meet us in the morning, ANYTIME, at the campground.
This is a FREE campground with beautiful views of the entire Antelope Valley below.

Bring a book to read, watch a movie, bring your metal detector, listen to music, grind coffee beans, smoke pot, or go for a hike on the PCT.
Or, do absolutely nothing.

The campground has picnic tables, fire pits, pit toilets, and a 2-bar cell reception (I have AT&T)

Everyone gets on the waitlist for this trip and will be moved up accordingly, with priority given to those who have done this trip with us in the past.
